Don't Let Burnout Be The Reason You Fail

You hear so much talk these days about how entrepreneurs need to be working 18-hour days, never sleeping for more than a couple of hours a night. Up at 5:00 AM, bed after midnight, working seven days a week.

Now I'm gonna throw something in there that I think is very important for people that don't see through this kind of macho crap.

If your business requires you to work 18 hours a day, seven days a week, to keep it afloat, then I've gotta break it to you, you've got a crap business model, mate.

Running a successful business shouldn't require you to work to the point where you feel like you're killing yourself.

If you're at the point where your business is making you miserable and you are working 18 hours a day, seven days a week, then you need to step back, re-evaluate your business model and ask yourself what you are actually trying to achieve in the first place.
